Although I try to be on time, and usually am, I can forgive lateness—except when it happens time and time again by the same person. Then I think it’s thoughtless and inconsiderate.

in France turning up on time for a dinner is generally considered a bit gauche, the host might be running late so five or ten minutes is appreciated
