Another interesting and inspiring story, Julia--inspiring to the point that I'm mentally writing a piece on how careless comments from another can impact our lives. I hope it's ok to credit you for the inspiration.

It's hard not to take thoughtless comments to heart--especially, as we age, those related to appearance. For me, this is still a lesson I haven't fully incorporated.
