Before my knee replacement surgery in May, I considered walking at least part of the Camino with my daughter to celebrate my 80th. Then an X-ray showed no cartilage on my right knee and we scrapped the plan and I celebrated in Rome instead. Still there in the back of my mind though, maybe 81st? Congratulations on your adventurous spirit and determination though.
