Boring and lonely days happens sometimes, I hope this is a temporary state for you. I agree with what Lorna (response below) says about finding a passion, something you love to do. For me, it's writing. Whatever my state of mind, I can usually absorb myself in it to the exclusion of almost everything else. Gardening is good too--except it kills my back sometimes.
