From one long haired (though not as long as yours) 70+ rebel to another, I say screw dictums about how to wear your hair. Do with it whatever you wish to do with it. . . and really, long hair is a damn sight easier to manage than cute little bobs that require salon visits to keep it looking cute and perky--a look I've never wanted to adopt anyway . . .
