I can absolutely relate, Michele. I'm intimately familiar with days like the one you describe. It's ok when they only happen once in a while, but not so good when they're more frequent and there's this general sense of malaise. I read Pema Chodron and usually feel more optimistic, or take a walk. Try to meditate, but can't always detach. I worried when you wrote that you took a bunch of bills into the bedroom. Paying bills on such days can't be a good thing! Glad you felt better the next day though.
