I enjoyed your story, Josie. I live in southern France, a small village, where life is a little less glamourous than Paris. But, even after ten years here, I still feel the magic at times, especially at night when street lights turn old stone buildings to the colour of honey. No other word, but magical. . . although we also have a few rats, fortunately they have not invaded the house. I think spotting one in the kitchen my freak me out a little.

At 68, I started a new chapter in my life: I moved to France. Alone. It turned out to be quite the page-turner. Still is — even when age insists on a part.
