I get so much of what you've described Sara--living in relatively isolated setting, exacerbated by language difficulties, relying on a partner for pretty much all social interaction. Exactly my situation.

I've thought about it a lot of late. How having a close friend to meet and talk to would be such a stress reliever. Instead, I pour a lot into writing and on-line interactions, but it's not quite enough.

I hope your move to a new location will address some of your issues, maybe give you a new perspective. Good luck and best wishes.
