I love this story, Michelle. Brings back memories of the four hour coach trips with my mum and sister from Ramsgate to Victoria station, with a stop at the Half Way House for toilets and tea. I absolutely adored those trips, my sister, prône to travel sickness dreaded them. Love all the evocative details, a delight to read.
