I think you’ve described a feeling many of us get from time to time, Michelle, to greater or lesser degrees. I had it most when I worked for a large corporation, ironically a job that required the ability to come up with on the spot responses. It was often nerve wracking, endless second guessing about what I said or how I said it.
Writing is indeed a less stressful (mostly) way to express our feelings. Excellent piece.
