If I think of myself in terms of a label( I usually don't) I sort of sneak into the Boomer 1 crowd. Born 6 October 1944, so I miss qualifying by 2 months. But, like your mother, I share few of the Silent Generation qualities.

Basically, I dislike putting people into categories, what applies to one lot doesn't necessarily apply to another. Vive la difference.
