Interesting linguistics refresher--thanks. Now I'm feeling very self-conscious about the words I'm choosing, but it's still early and my brain isn't firing on all cylinders, so I'll just not that I dislike the way politicians (far right) co-opt certain words and in doing so render them useless to those not sharing the same views. Woke is a good example. So is patriotism.
