Living in France, I still read the NYT every day, also Le Monde and the UK Guardian. In an attempt (usually futile) to understand the other side (right leaning) I also read the Telegraph.

There are mornings when I feel so much despair about the state of politics in general--but particularly the farce of the US Republicans and the orange monster, that I think I should stop reading, if only for my health.

It's hard to feel much optimism of late.
