I Was Wondering Why I Hadn’t Seen Stories or Responses From a Writer Whose Work I Enjoy
Medium tells me I’ve blocked her!
There are numerous writers on Medium whose stories I regularly read and enjoy. I particularly like the recipes Linda Lumwrites. I realised today that I hadn’t seen her stories recently or had any responses from her. I thought perhaps she was on vacation so I went to her website.
Medium said I no longer had access to her stories because I’ve blocked her.
What?
I think I once blocked a scammer but that’s the extent of my blocking. What’s going on here? Has anyone else had this experience? I couldn’t even tag her name because of this. It’s embarrassing and annoying and I’ve probably missed some really good recipes.
How does this happen?
I’d love to know if others have had this experience.
UPDATE: I went to the bottom of the settings pages, found blocked users — the scammer I know I blocked and Linda Lum. I clicked on Linda’s name and I think I’ve unblocked her. I’d still like to know how this happens in the first place.
