Oh JoAnn, I'm jealous. I love the way you've inserted the Cecilia song lines between the highs and lows of writing on Medium--so clever. I just wish I'd thought of it myself.

But you're absolutely right. In my nine months on Medium I've experienced exactly what you describe and at times have just had to stay away for a day to maintain sanity--always fragile at the best of times. Thanks for writing this story.
