THE WEAKER SEX?
Are Women Really More Emotional Than Men? Are Males More Logical?
Excuse me while I fall on the floor laughing.
First off, this is slightly tongue-in-cheek and not meant to tar all guys with the same male-chauvinist-pig brush. I do know of men whose arguments don’t go like this:
‘Women aren’t logical, it’s just common sense, their brains are different.’
I do know some men don’t think that way, just as there are men who listen when a woman speaks. Unfortunately, I don’t think they hang out in the village pétanque court here in France. . . although to be fair, my French isn’t at the level where I could pick up any subtle nuances that might suggest otherwise.
Of course, language wouldn’t be a problem in Britain or the States where guys (of a certain type, of course) bolster their sense of male superiority over a few beers and discourse on sports, politics, and female behaviour.
