Ted, I can't adequately express my sympathies and sadness for your situation. I hope you have some sort of support system which will allow you to find some relief. I looked after my mother in her last few years--the situation was nowhere near as difficult as what you describe, still it was incredibly stressful. Caretakers need to take care of themselves too--
