Thanks for taking the time to explain this Jo Ann, it's all so damn confusing. While I can't resist trying to interpret my stats--stressing over read time etc--I have to remind myself that I joined Medium to write stories and, hopefully, find an audience--which has happened. So, despite confusing stats and algorithms it continues to be a positive experience.
