Thanks for writing this, Susie. In the misery loves company vein, my stats for December were depressing and January isn't looking much better--although followers are up.

I don't understand how it all works--what I do know is that writing for a living (at least for me) is far less lucrative, for example, than public relations (once my career) but I'd still choose it over doing anything else.
