I haven't seen this problem before but submissions that seems to disappear into a black hole when submitted to certain publications is something I've definitely experienced. as a result, I've pulled articles (which I always feel uncomfortable in doing) and submitted them elsewhere.

One of the rewards from Medium is that the submission experience is usually the exact opposite of submitting to medium and larger publications where you might hear nothing for months . . . or nothing at all. Bu contrast, on Medium you usually get a very rapid response and feedback on your work.

Thanks for posting this, I, too, hope the technical glitches are resolved.
