This is a really interesting story, Sharon. In fact I started reading it, then your mention of Duo reminded me that I hadn't practice today. I've been very remiss lately but yesterday made a new commitment to at least do the daily requirement. Learning French is important to me because I live in France and very little English is spoken in the village, but I also like the thought that it's good for the brain. Good luck with your studies--I'd love to get to the point where I was reading books in their original language rather than translations.

At 68, I started a new chapter in my life: I moved to France. Alone. It turned out to be quite the page-turner. Still is — even when age insists on a part.
