Very funny, but also very sobering. Old age creeps up rapidly . . almost as rapidly as the money begins to run out.

I'm back in the States at the end of a one month visit and can't believe how expensive everything is--it's been five years since I was last here. I'm glad I moved to France when I did, even if I wanted to live in the States again, I could no longer afford to do so.
