Very interesting story, Cat. I admire you for taking on this challenge and, especially, doing it alone. I was much older than you--68--when I decided to move to France by myself. Since I was already retired, with a small pension, I didn't need to look for work-- and probably couldn't have found it anyway. I've been here for nine years now, experienced many of the challenges you face--learning the language, meeting people, etc.--but it's been, and continues to be, a fantastic adventure. Congratulations on your move, I hope you continue to enjoy your life in Spain.

At 68, I started a new chapter in my life: I moved to France. Alone. It turned out to be quite the page-turner. Still is — even when age insists on a part.
