What a lovely story and introduction to Cheri's writing. I'd read somewhere about the interview and meant to look it up then, in typical fashion, I got sidetracked by something else. But, like Cheri, I suspect that accidents don't just happen, and just browsing Medium, as I frequently do, I came across your story.
