What an interesting story, Dee-Dee. I can imagine your father-in-law on the Queen Mary--it is now docked in Long Beach where I used to live and I've toured it a number of times.

So sad to reflect on the human treasures lost--and, as you note, the brutal slaughter going on today. If only history taught us anything.
