What is happening in Ukraine, now a hospital bombed, is utter madness. Lunacy created by one man. I live in France and it's peaceful in my small village, almost impossible to believe that this carnage is happening not so very far away. On the same continent. Every day, I read about it, watch the broadcasts and just want to scream. I hope we are never required to demmonstrate the bravery Ukranians are showing. And I hope for the madness to stop.

At 68, I started a new chapter in my life: I moved to France. Alone. It turned out to be quite the page-turner. Still is — even when age insists on a part.
