Yes, a sense of proportion is good--but I'll be glad when Medium fixes it. Also, some sort of official explanation when these things happen would be welcome. It's unfortunate that the only way to know that your stats haven't completely tanked, or why your stories aren't being read is to see whether anyone else is complaining.
